In January 2014 Rachael Aquilina and Michelle Smith, two fiercely forward-thinking musicians met for the very first time for a show at Colab (a very well-established freestyle night in Perth, Western Australia). Despite never having met, their instant rapport and connection was obvious to all and despite the meddling of a bunch of rappers and a rhythm section, they created some amazing sounds that night.
Now to commemorate that momentous occasion, Colab have designed and created a series of hand-numbered commemorative plates …
… which are only available for purchase only at Colab May. Come on down and (subject to availability) you can secure your piece of history. And, of course, as both these performers will be present for a reprise performance, you can get them signed by the musicians who were present at that first performance !
